Why I Started the Mind Matters Club

I started the Mind Matters Club because I see how much mental health matters in today’s fast-paced world. Stress, anxiety, and constant pressure are becoming the norm, and I believe we need a space to pause, learn, and take care of our minds. My passion for the brain and its incredible complexity has always fascinated me, it’s the command center of everything we do. But too often, we let our thoughts control us instead of taking charge.

Through this club, I want to empower students and our community to understand their minds, build healthy habits, and discover that we can control our brains—not the other way around. Together, we can create a community that values mental strength and resilience.

“You have power over your mind, not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.” — Marcus Aurelius
